Fuzzy outer edges of a rendering

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by G. De Angelis, Apr 21, 2007.

  1. Can someone here tell me what other toggles or factors are involved to
insure sharp clear outer edges of a rendering?
I have my image quality set to as high as it will go permanently, by
way of a template file. Are there other resolution settings
somewhere? Or maybe a rule involving lighting in Photoworks that I
am violating? Violating rules is one thing that I am good at.

I would be thankful for any response,

Are you saving the image as a jpeg?
If so, then that can introduce all sorts of artefacts, including fuzziness
    of edges.

If I need a sharp image, I usually use tif.

  4. WOW!!! what a difference. I set the anti alias setting to very high.
I cannot believe the sharpness of the outer edges.
Thank you, I will not be forgetting that tip.
