from tiff too DWG, is this possible??

    How can I go from an image file to an vector based file?
    I have got an image and I want to be able to open in in autocad and work
    with it.
    thx!!


    Is het mogelijk om van een image (tiff-bestand) naar een tekening (dwg)
    met herkenbare losse lijntjes te gaan.

    ik wil dus van een digitale image naar een vector based bestand!!
    zodat ik deze kan bewerken in autocad.

    you might wanna use a vectorization program, try free WinTopo Lite:

    no 'real' drawing (i.e. dimensions) of course

    Probably less trouble to get the .DWG from the person who made the .TIF

    Best way to get a DWG from a TIF image is to manually redraw the
    drawing in a CAD package. This give a perfect dwg file along with the
    dimension.

    If you want, you can send us the tif, we provide services related to
    it.
