Is there a workaround to make from a hatch(solid) a contour polyline?

There is no posibility to explode a solidhatch, maybe some other workaround?

  2. If you want to explode the solid hatch, you could use HATCHEDIT to change it
to another hatch pattern first. There are programs available on the
internet to recreate a boundary for a hatch. Try a google search.

  4. Yep, that's the one I was thinking of. Sorry I couldn't give you the link,
but I'm glad that I could at least "steer" you in the right direction.
