this one was never important enough for me to figure out, but its anoyin me
    for years now

how do i draw plane ol' rectangle by putting in the length and width, those
options acad has in the rectangle command
    are not working for me.

for example if i want to draw a window 140 x 80 cm with a rectangle command,
    how do i do that?

    thanx

    1. Type rectangle in the command prompt
    2. pick the starting point for the rectangle
    3. Type D for Dimensions
    4. ACAD will prompt you for the length & width
