Form Not executing commands correctly.

I have a form with a couple of command buttons. When I press one of the command buttons, it is supposed to freeze and thaw certain layers. The don't have the form closing nor hiding, because I still need to select some other changes after the layers are updated. The code I've written executes fine but even though I execute a regen in the code associated with the command button, the drawing doesn't change at all. Not until I close the form or press on the Hide button that I have on the form does the drawing actually change. Something doesn't seem right I don't want to have to close out the form and reload it.
