Fonts display differently in Mtext dialog to in the drawing

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Matthew Taylor, Feb 21, 2004.

  1. On some drawings I have a problem, that within the mtext dialog box, it
will display the text in a very thin font (so thin that sometimes it is
almost unreadable) Sometimes I can live with this as it just means that
the font looks slightly different whilst typing, but other times it is
more of a problem, such as when you are trying to type in a foreign
character set such as Greek & it only displays as boxes, although it is
readable when you get out of the Mtext dialog.

Does anyone know why this happens or how to stop it?

  2. Its not that - The actual font displaying in the Mtext dialog box is
different to what is shown on the drawing. (although your tip may make
it more readable, it doesn't solve the main problem, of Greek characters
sometimes showing up as boxes in the mtext dialog.)
    Thanks for the tip though
