In our University we have 200 licences for AutoCAD ADT. Each computer is used by different students. The problem is that the profile, wich is made and put in C:\Documents and Settings\[loginname] are not roaming with the profile from Windows Networking. So if a student logs in on another computer, AutoCAD generates an error that says something like:
FATAL ERROR: Invalid configuratio path/filename C:\document anbd settings.....

    Does anyone know the solution?
    Thanks

  2. Hello Hans,

There is a fix for this on the WEB Site.  The file USERDATA.DLL is updated to solve this problem that the User Profile is pushed down from the server before AutoCAD had been run on that station.  There are no Local Settings so it can not find the CFG file causing the error message.  If you update userdata.dll this will allow secondary install to kick off and populate the Local settings.
