Flexible Assemblies too flexible

    I needed a flexible assembly, so as usual I checked the box. What
    happened next is that all mates were suspended and I could move any of
    the parts in the subassembly freely in any direction. That gives a new
    meaning to flexible assembly.

    Are you sure that's what happened? The reason I ask is that there is a bug
    in flexible subs in that if you move a flexible sub, and it has patterns,
    the patterned parts don't go with it.

    Guess I have to publicly take my foot out of my mouth. There were two
    configurations and one had the mates suppressed in it. Guess which one
    was active?

    Did you have 1 or 2 pieces of toast with that egg? However, wouldn't you
    rather have them all be that easy?
