    Hello All,

OK maybe I'm just dense but I can't get a note the "stick".
Insert>Annotations>Note click in the graphics area, type in my note "Belt is
D1@Belt-Length long", click in the graphics area again to locate the note,
click OK and note goes bye-bye!

    ???

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

BTW I'm in a part file,

    Muggs,

Either one of three things could be happening (or a combination of them).

    1. Right click on the annotations folder and choose display annotations.
    2. If that is not it, right click on the annotations folder and choose
details. From the annotation properties, make sure notes is checked.
    3. And if that still doesn't do it, from the view menu, make sure "all
    annotations" is checked.

    Hope this helped

    DUH!!!
Well that was it. Now I have about 15 notes (14 of which I don't need).

    Thanks you all.

  5. Is it possible you are placing the note on a layer that's turned off?
