    Hi all
I am in the process to choose a RF part circuit to design myself,
this is my first time to design chips( I am pretty new in chip design,
I learned to use basic use of Pspice very recently), I would like my
chip to be manufactured my mosis after I finished design. But I am not
sure which kind of part I should choose ( I would like the part can be
manufactured by MOSis). Can anyone give me some suggestion which part
I should choose? Is it too big to design a transceiver? Actually this
is a part of class project(the class project required simulation), but
I really want to make it, so if anyone can give me some suggestions,
it will be greatly appreciated. My choice for the part is PLL, LNA,
Gilbert-cell multipliers, oscillators, transmitters and receivers. It
will be great if I can make a transmitters and receivers, I am just
afraid if I have can sucessfully make it since this is my first time
design. ALso, can anyone give me possible easy-make transmitters and
receivers examples, I really appreciate it. I hope someone can help
    me.
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,

I would suggest your start from LNA, I am not sure what kind of
technolgy you are trying to use. CMOS RF design is quite challenge.

In oder to tape out your design, you need a full suite of design
tools. Pspice probably won't work well for RF simulations. I'd suggest
you use Cadence spectreRF, Agilent ADS simulator, or Hspice.
