fire escape stairway dwg

    I am trying to help a local church with some fire escape stairs that are on
    the outside of a building. Does anyone know where I can find a dwg to show
    them or at least show me some building code example so I can draw one? Any
    help would be appreciated.

    NFPA 101 basically prohibits fire escape stairs unless you receive specific
    approval from the local code authority AND they provide for less than a
    certain percentage of the required egress. You might want to check the Code
    and with the local building official if you do not already have preliminary
    approval.
