fill area with circles

    Hello everybody,

    Is there a lisp program existing which fills an area with circles,
    so that circle diameter and placement (on a regular grid)
    are parametrical. (for example circle diameter 1,5mm and centerpoints on grid of 26mm spacing)?
    I would be happy to get such, it would save me a lot of work.

    The AutoLisp tutorial about drawing a garden path (still there in 2004, at
    least) is certainly close to what you're looking for, and at least will give
    you a good idea of how to go about it.
