~ files

  1. I know there's a way to do this, but I forgot over the years.

How do you hide those files in the SW open file window? It just gets
old scrolling through all of these hidden files.

    Thanks for the help.

    Corey,
I agree. This is true if the files reside locally or on a Windows server
(can't verify the last one). But this doesn't work in my case when the
files are on a Samba server. (Net Integrator - MarkII). I have had no
choice but to just deal with it. It sucks though. There may be a solution,
but I have not investigated it (not top priority).

  4. I was able to cut out 90% of my file searches by writing a macro that
generates the file path by typing in a part# Quick and effective, and I
don't have to deal with those ~files to boot. I don't know anything about
    Samba.

  6. Thanks Corey. I knew it was simple, but my brain was trying to think
too hard. It's a lot easier not having to scroll past all those
    files.
