Anyone out there know of a way to suppress "ALL" dialog boxes? I've tried setting filedia and cmddia to 0 but I still get dialog boxes in certain situations? For example, running a plot of a pdf from the command line...the saveas dialog box always pops up...is there a way around this?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Save the file first. Not all dialog can be bypassed other than by not using
that command [create your own version] or doing the action first to avoid
    it.

Have you tried to invoke the plot command using lisp.

    (command "plot")

I type that in at the command line and get command line prompts for all the plot settings.

    Good luck,

The saveas dialogue for PDF files may be driven by the Distiller, not
    AutoCAD.

I use Adobe Acrobat in the office, and the Distiller I use defaults to
asking for a location. I think there is a way to set a default common PDF
location, but I don't know of a way to get it to simply print to the same
    directory as the drawing.

setting filedia and cmddia to 0 but I still get dialog boxes in certain
situations? For example, running a plot of a pdf from the command
line...the saveas dialog box always pops up...is there a way around this?
