New to the group, but a long time Microstation user. First in SE, then
J, now V8. In Microstation J, when you don't have the workspace set to
"Immediately Save Design Changes", it keeps a backup copy as you are
working in case of a crash. When you restart, it gives you the option
of starting from where MS crashed, or not saving and going back to the
original file. Is there any way to replicate this function in
Microstation V8? Is it already happening behind the scenes and they
just don't give you the option upon restarting from a crash? Why did
    they remove this useful feature?
I can't use "Immediately Save Design Changes" for workspace and file
reasons too cumbersome to explain, but are there any other options
besides manually remembering to do a backup upon entering the drawing
    each time?

    Thanks,
    Matthew Simmons
