the designer sends me a drawing name Whatever.EPR

edrawngs viewer refuses to open it (unsupported file type)
I don't mean it doesnt see the file, I mean it actually says it cannot open it.

i actually have to change the filename to Whatever.eprT and then it will open it.

The designer tells me that's how the files are saved.

It's all a bit cludgy, any ideas please?

eDrawings doesn't save parts with the *.epr extension. An old version of
AOL, winzip, pkzip, Novell, Windows, etc might truncate the name to 8.3
format. Was the file name longer than 8 characters?

Eiffel is a programming language so I don't think this is related.
