We had a file just lose all it's info today, and the backup system had
screwed up, so exported to V7 to use edg to attempt repair, all my V7
CD's had gotten tossed in an office move, Bentley fouled up and I've
lost download priviledges till I talk to them tomorrow Am.. Cripes!

Any one have any thoughts? The thing went from 407Kb to 28Kb in a
heartbeat, operater tells me she got the "file in use" message then
    everything went black..........

    Any thoughts? If not, sympathy?

    Thanks

I have tried that. Seems a Dan (can't recall last name right now )
from Bentley posted such a utility on March 6, 2006. Can't get to it
with a browser, tho I can see the silly little paper clip indicating
an attachment, and my news provider doesn't go back that far. Went to
livechat w/ Bentley, they said they would try to email me said file.
Talked to Axiom, they want US 1,000 clams for thier utility that does
this. OUCH. It *was* shareware in v7.

Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems this would be a good function to ad to
microstation as purchased.......... hello Phil C?
