have inadvertantly deleted the source lisp copy of a fas file i created and was hoping that someone may help me get the source file back if i sent them my fas file. i had been ivestigating writing a licensing routine to all my lisps and well i deleted the source one

    thanks

do you not have it's associated *._ls file?
you can just rename that to *.lsp and you've got your last saved backup
    state.
If you don't have your system set to create backups, hopefully you didn't
delete your memory and knowledge of how you wrote the source the first time!
That way you can just run the 'rewriteSource' command to get your original
    code back.
....oh yeah, and ease up on that delete key!

(also a good idea to keep incremental backup copies as you go...in case of
    accidents like these)
    :)

Have you done a search for FAS and decrypt?

It is no secret that there is a FAS decrypter around. There is no point
hiding one's head in the sand about this. FAS files can be decrypted.
