extruding cones

    is there a way to make a solid cone that is offset. (eccentric) ? TIA

    Solid... the wire frame is easy.. I cant figure out how to make it solid..

  4. It depends on the relationship of the axis to the cross section. It could be
    as
    simple as subtracting a wedge off of a standard cone at its base. You could
    also use a elliptical cone and do the same to it for other forms.
    It really depends on exactly what shape you want.
    The one that stumps me is one with circular cross sections parallel to the
    base but with its
    axis NOT parallel to the base. Wireframe is the only way I know of how to do
    that.
