    Hi,

    I can't extrude any ellipse with a taper angle, but retangle, square, circle, any other polygons are fine. I always get the following message:

    "Unable to extrude the object with taper angle.
    Unable to extrude the selected object."

    Thank you so much for help.

    There are good mathematical reasons why you can't do what you describe;
    however, you *can* do it with an 'ellipse' that's approximated by a closed
    polyline. Set PELLIPSE = 1; then draw your ellipse (which will be a
    polyline); then extrude and taper away.

    to bad you can't create a solid using rulesurf (ie pick two elipses and
    voila - a nice solid)

    Consulting - If you're not part of the solution, there's good money in
    prolonging the problem.

    Actually, not a solid, but a surface, at least.

    If you are looking for an ellipsoid (SOLID) with 3 different axis - I have
    one. I try to set it in the CF.
