    Hi,

I have started using the Copernic Desktop Search program
    (http://www.copernic.com/)
It runs great and is very fast but it does not search inside dwg
    files, of course.

I would like to get a program working that can cycle through all my
dwg files and write all the text in them (mtext, text, attributes,
dimension text etc) to a .txt file that has the same name as the dwg
file. All of these txt files could be dumped into a single directory.
There are some Text-out routines that I've found. They only give
partial results though I really need one that gets all the text out,
    especially the attributes.
Of course the format that the text is output does not really matter at
    all.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Zac.

    HiHo;
A script file that loads and runs the various programs you need to run will
    do that.
Look in www.cadalyst.com , "get the code" section for a program to extract
    attribute text.
