External Design Table update

    Has anyone wrote an application in VB6 to add/update the data in a design
    table? I have a request for an app so that sales and design can add, update,
    check the configurations in a design table without having SW installed.

    I'm thinking external Excel Spread sheet would work out best, but getting to
    the imbedded sheet in the model sounds a lot cleaner if it can be done. Only
    have looked at this in the lightest way so far and it all 'reads' as
    possible.

    Anybody that has tried this????

    You can save your DT as an external Excel file. Use that for others
    to open/update or whatever. Then later you can delete the DT from
    your SW model, then Insert DT from file... i.e. your updated file.
