I need help with taking a block an being able to take the attributes and putting them into an excel file. Then take the attributes change them then put the attributes back into AutoCAD and make the block change to the desired attributes. I want to make this either in AutoCAD VB/VBA or in Visual Basic 6. I'm a high school student with little knowledge about AutoCad but I know Visual Basic 6. Any help with actual code or places where i can get the code to do this would be a big help.

  2. Hi,

If you have AutoCAD look in the Sample files area.

Everything you need has been supplied by Autodesk with AutoCAD in sample
code and in code snippits from the Help files. All you will need to do is
to adjust the details to suit your particular blocks.

For further code bits and discussion of the issues search this Newsgroup and
    the Autodesk customer files newsgroup.
