Export to Autocad not available

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Andy Reichenbach, Mar 2, 2004.

  1. I am running Autocad 2004 and need to save back to 2002. Everyone else
in our office uses a function under File called Export to Autocad that
allows this saveback to happen but I do not have this as an option.

Can anyone help me to figure out why I do not have this? Is it an
option during install or a setting somewhere that disables this?

    Thanks!

2000, 2000i, and 2002 all have the same file format so pick 2000 as the
    format.

Try reloading your AutoCAD.. This is accompanied with "packet" for
loading and is not an option.

Try File - Save-As, then select the needed format version at the bottom for
    file type.

  5. This sounds more like they are using Architectural Desktop or something
    similar rather than basic AutoCAD.

In the normal version of AutoCAD you should be able to pick which
release you want to save your file to from within the saveas dialog.
