Export text strings only from Autocad2K?

    Is there a way to export all of the text strings in a drawing to a
    text file?

    I realize such can be done by saving the drawing as a DXF file and
    then reading that but I'd like to have it so that the drawing guy can
    simply export the information I need to a simple text file.

    Suggestions?
