Exploding Groups

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Jonathan Barnes, Mar 30, 2005.

  1. Working in 2004.

I have drawings with un named groups.... well actually named by Autocad *a1,
    *a2, ......

what I want to do sometimes is explode these groups by selecting them with
    the mouse.

the only way I have found so far to ungroup these groups is to find there
name, start the "group / explode" command and then type in the name.

I have no trouble in LT 98, which has an ungroup button which ungroups the
selected groups or prompts for a selection by mouse.

Barnes's theorem; for every foolproof device
there is a fool greater than the proof.
