I've run into this problem a couple of times in SW2005, and was wondering if anyone had insight. After adding explode lines to an exploded assy, components in a circular pattern (let's say a bolt in a bolt circle) move when I'm finished adding lines. It's almost like some one changes the bolt circle to be 100x it's original diameter, putting the bolts off the edge of the drawing format. It does this everytime, in any assembly that has circular patterned bolts.
