    Hello all

Is there any way to find the exploded dimensions in the drawing or exploded dimnsions text in the drawing.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Hi,

    No easy way:

After you explode a dimension you are left with Mtext, lines or arcs, and
solids (if you had used conventional arrow heads)

Hence you could search the drawing for Mtext and each time you find it,
look to see if there is a line or arc in its proximity which could have been
a dimension line or dimension arc. The check if the line or arc has solids
at each end and or other lines which could be leaders.

It would probably be easier to visually click on everything which looks like
a dimension and see what is highlighted

Having found them - what would you do with them ?

    thanks

Actually my purpose is to get all the exploded dimensions
and hightlight them to show that these dimensions are exploded ones.

    Hi,

After exploding 'MTEXT' it will be converted into 'TEXT'.

Write a selection set to highlight all the exploded text.

  5. Perhaps it would be easier to highlight actual dimensions, I've got a
program that will do that (and highlight non associative dimensions) called
Chkdims.lsp on my download page. Written in R14.
