Experiences with Intellicad

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Francesco Moi, Aug 6, 2003.

  1. Hello.

I want to acquire a cheap license of a CAD software, and I was told
    about Intellicad.

But I discovered that there're a lot of 'versions': Briscad
Intellicad, Bricsnet Intellicad, Cadopia Intellicad, ...

Does anybody use this kind of CAD software?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi

that only lack Solid Modeling, now maby one of these offer Solids ,I wouldn't
    know as I use AutoCAD , but don't think that IntelliCAD ;
    http://www.cadopia.com/
is any bad program, from my knowleage it could be better than a simular AutoCAD
    version.

Just keep in mind that cheap is not always good. You will find CAD
software ranging from $30 to $4,000 & more and the quality varies
greatly. Try to download and evaluate the software first.

  5. Thank you, Sammy, for answering.

I've just get an evaluation copy of "Briscad Intellicad". Does Briscad
    anything to do with Bricsnet?

    Regards.

  7. you used to be able to get a free copy of 2000 or 2001 from CadOpia web
    site.

you might check out e-bay, they have some good deals on CAD software.
