excel MDT

    People,
    May I extract some datas from excel and this datas can automatically fill
    the "BOM/Parts list" from MDT?

  4. Did you do a full install or a custom and select the vba examples? You
    won't get it if you didn't. Also, what version of mdt? I believe the
    above is only valid for MDT6 & 7 [2004]. The help file is named mcadvba
    plus the version number [e.g. mcadvba6.chm, mcadvba_7_0.chm]

    I found the help file but I did'nt find the sample, in which chapter is it?

    There may be something in one of the programs that are on a old site of mine that you
    might find helpful. I think they may have been password protected, but if you want the
    password, just email me. Also watch out for all the popups on this site, I don't
    normally use it any more, but have never taken it down.

  7. There is no specific example that goes from Excel to the BOM, but the
    help file shows you how to add/remove items from the BOM. You just need
    to plug in the Excel pieces which are unbundant in this ng's archive.
    It's all in the BOM chapter. Once you get an attempt going, if you have
    problems shoot them up here and I can help.
