error opening output stream

Hi I'm getting this error on a XP Pro machine running a stand alone version
Land Desktop 2005 plotting to a networked HP650c...any solutions? Other
machines in the group work fine. TIA

Hi Randy -

Would you mind changing your log on name away from
"discussion.autodesk.com"? Don't want anyone to mistake you as
posting from Autodesk.

I was getting this error the other day. We got around it by making a plot
file and submitting that to the plotter.

Now that I know the cause, I can fix the problem.

 

Thanks for the responses and the tip on the "from" box. I'm running a new
machine and missed configuring the newsgroup settings. I'll try the fixes
suggested by Dean when I get to the clients office next week and post which
one worked.

 

Problem solved by re-creating the plotter with the plot wizard. Easier to
change the tire rather than analize why it went flat!
