I have acquired my Network License file for Autodesk Land Desktop 2004 and got into the License Manager (LMTools) dialog box. I configured a new service and did all the steps. I click on the Server Status tab and click Perform Status Enquiry. This is the error I received:
Users of 46800ACD_2005_OF: (Error: 9 Licenses, unsupported by licensed server)

And also when I check the Log file I get an error that says:
Invalid License key (inconsistent authentication code)

The network license manager is installed on a Windows Server 2003 OS

There was a suggestion to re-register the serial no. in another discussion. (did that - Now I have two Lic. Files that do not work.)

Note the string "46800ACD_2005_OF": this means AutoCAD 2005, not LDT 2004.
The Invalid License key suggests that the license files were edited
incorrectly. Were you trying to combine two files?

The String "46800acd_2005_OF" was in both license files ( the original and re-registered) that Autodesk issued for my 2004 Serial Numbers. Nothing in the files was edited.

    Thanks for the response
