    I have installed the license manager for AutoCAD 2005, and deployed to one workstation. The license manager indicates that 15 licenses are available (0 in use), however after I launch AutoCAD from the workstation, it give me error message [1.5-5] indicating that a valid license could not be obtained from the network license manager.

    We are currently running AutoCAD 2000i. The server with the license manager for 2005 is separate from the server with the license manager for 2000i.

    I have followed the instruction on the AutoCAD CD and can not figure out why the workstation is not finding one of the 15 available licenses. Any help would be appreciated.

    Open a command prompt on the workstation and type "set".

    You should see a line that says something like:

    ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE=@SERVER1;@SERVER2

    Make sure sure one and server two are the names of the two license serves
    you're using. If you need to make a change on the workstation use the
    system in the control panel to set the environment variables. List the
    servers in the order you want the client to search with an ; between them.

    Not sure if this helps, but what the heck. I like typing.
