entsel

Is there a way to make entsel grab an entity based on the closest point to a
predefined point nearby? In other words - If I pick a point, can I use
entsel to pick up lines nearby to fillet?

When I use (entget (line1)) & (entget line2)) on the lines it doesnt seem
smart enough to know where to fillet from.

Explain a little more about the context of what you want to do, and someone
may be able to offer a solution. In general, trying to use "native" commands
in LISP can be a bit tricky; there may be a better way using strictly LISP
functions.
