Enormous plot files?

I am getting very large plot files, about 7000 KB when plotting certain
files. The files are plotted in paper space with AC2004. I have plotted
another file with the same title block and it was okay.
I checked the Autodesk site and my TEXTFILL is 1 (default). Any ideas? I
sent a file to customer-files NG.

    Thanks,
    D Davis

  2. I have found that irregular viewports are one culprit for slow/large plot
    files.

Are you plotting a layout with a polygonal viewport?

  4. You might examine the block "PGAL Locations2".
Deleting that block reduced the plot file size from 6+MB to 350K on my test.
Just exploding it reduced the plot file size to 1.4MB
