ellipse to arc

is there a way to convert an ellipse to an arc?

 

it remains an ellipse, arcs are needed.

 

Gosh, I must have read it wrong. Let's see, he said "is there a way to
convert an ellipse to an arc?". And I thought he just want a portion of
an ellipse as an arc. My mistake.

FYI, found a little work around. Plot it to a DXB file and reimport it.
It comes in as lines, but they can be changed to plines and curve fit.

 

before you draw ellipse, change the variable "pellipse" to 1
