Edrawings exit on print (bug/problem)

I am trying to view and print some SolidWorks generated eDrawings sent to me
by a client. They have the format filename.exe. I do not know much about
    either eDrawings or SolidWorks.

When I try to print the screen display (using the print button on the
EDrawings Plug in) the print window comes up, lets me select the number of
copies, says it is sending it to my laser printer, then exits eDrawings
without priniting anything. There are no print jobs left in my queue. I
just re-downloaded the eDrawings SW from SolidWorks but it does not help.

I have a Pentium 4, 1.6 MHz, 512 MB RAM, MS XP SP2 (and updated), nVidea
Geforce4 64MB (I think), HP 3380 all in one laser jet.

    Any ideas?

Is there a way to report this problem to SolidWorks without paying for a
    tech support subscription?

    Thanks in advance.

I did figure it out. Just execute the exe file, the save as an .easm file
type, then exit, then run the eDrawing software and view and print with the
    eDrawing software.

It does sound like there's a bug, even if you found a workaround.
