Ed Eaton comes thru again . . . /3GB switch

    Thanks once again to Ed Eaton who has written an article in Solid
    Solutions on overcoming the 2Gb memory limitation in Windows XP (of
    course the limitation applies to all Windows versions, but the only
    workaround applies Windows XP). He has the inside track on some poorly
    documented but necessary steps. The article can be found at:

  2. Yes, indeed! Vaguely remembering the discussion, I went back through the
    newsgroup a few weeks ago using google to try and work it all out for myself
    and finally gave up. It's great that Ed took the time to write it up.
