To make Ecosqueeze run with the in context folder menu, I changed the
the text in the key CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\EcoSqueeze\command in
    the registry from
    "D:\Programme\EcoCom\EcoSqueeze\EcoSqueeze" /p:%1 /s /r /t /w /v
    /e:*.sld*;*.do*;*.xl*
    to
    "C:\Program Files\EcoCom\EcoSqueeze\EcoSqueeze" /p:%1 /s /r /t /w /v
    /e:*.sld*;*.do*;*.xl*

I don't know if it is a common issue or just mine. I don't know if it as
    been ever published.

Not for me (Windows XP). And I don't think so for others as not the
whole registry is in memory. Windows access this key just when needed.

  3. With the original registry value, I also get that. With the change as
above, it works properly with EcoSqueeze opening with that folder already
loaded - just like you would expect.

    One more try:
You should reinstall Ecosqueeze and then modify the registry key.
Is there really something at C:\Program
Files\EcoCom\EcoSqueeze\EcoSqueeze.exe ? or did you installed it
    elsewhere?
    Another possible reason:
    "C:\Program Files\EcoCom\EcoSqueeze\EcoSqueeze.exe" /p:%1 /s /r /t /w
    /v
    /e:*.sld*;*.do*;*.xl*
    instead of
    "C:\Program Files\EcoCom\EcoSqueeze\EcoSqueeze" /p:%1 /s /r /t /w /v
    /e:*.sld*;*.do*;*.xl*

I'm a little familiar with program assotiation issues. I then got the
idea that there is a problem with a registry key. Ran RegMagik and
search any entry in the whole registry with ecosqueeze in it. Found in
the list an anomaly: "D:programme...". That's it.
