Hi there, I'm trying to create a new dynamic block at work, using 2007. This will be a respresentation of a stormwater grate, with different vis states representing a selection of standard sizes, a lookup to choose a scale, and 2 attributes defining parameters that construction foremen will require to complete installation of the grates. The different sizes of grate were easily added with a visibility parameter and lookup table, but the attributes need to move to follow the edge of the grates as each size is selected, as thats where I'd like them to be placed for a more consistent looking drawing. Can anyone with more experience than me (3 months) give me a pointer as to how I could acomplish that? I've looked at using a point param, and move action for each vis state, but cannot figure out how to make the point change place and the attributes stay a fixed offset from that, with each different grate size. -- Kind regards, Chris Wilkinson, Brisbane, Australia. Hi there, Just replying to myself as I've solved it. Changed my approach, by removing the need for visibility states (use stretch instead), it makes using attributes/fields a little easier as they then are not spread across vis states... -- Kind regards, Chris Wilkinson, Brisbane, Australia.
