I wondering where in a .dxf file the drawing units are specified?
Where do I find what units or measurement the file/ drawing is in? So
if I'm given a line thickness of 0.29, I can accurately draw the line
size. Is this indicated by the $INSUNITS header?
    Thanks for any info.

INSUNITS only defines a unit for blocks, wich are drag&droped via
Design Center. The block is scaled with a factor that depends on the
settings of INSUNITS in the source and in the target drawing. But it
has no effect to the units in the actual dwg/dxf
