Dwg to Pdf

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Marc'Antonio Alessi, Sep 15, 2003.

  1. I need a program to convert Dwg to Pdf:

    1) without opening the Dwg and without having AutoCAD installed

    2) use line weights mapped to colors

    3) with a COM automation interface (Component Object Model)

I know Amethyst CADconvert but it do not support Pdf and
line weights mapped to colors only in printing not in conversion.

    Example:

start Excel, with a VBA macro select a Dwg file, output a Pdf with
line weights mapped to colors, send an e-mail with the Pdf attached
and write a report on a line of the current sheet.

    Thanks.

  3. Thanks Escable but,

MyndKryme (OttoPDF) had pulled down the freeware version and was
now promising a better shareware version (sometime in the future).
Searching the Internet for an old version to download was
futile - the program had effectively vanished.

Can you send to me your version of OttoPDF?

    Thanks in advance.
