DWG Thumbnail has white background

    I am new to AutoCAD 2004. I have a vb app that displays drawing thumbnails using the dwgthumbnail.ocx. All drawings created in 2000 show correctly (with black background), but all 2004 created thumbnails show as white! My settings all seem identical in 2004. What is the setting that is controlling this, and can I change it? NOTE: Initially I had the same issue when we changed to 2000, from 14, but I don't recall how we corrected it. Thanks for your help.

    What is the background color of your layout tabs?
