    Hey all,

    Looking for a way to search roughly 2200 drawings for a specific
    text....came across DwgBrowser 1.0 from www.dotsoft.com

    Has anyone used this or does anyone know of any other standalone packages
    that can capture info from dwg files?

    HiHo;
    Can you write a "script" file?

    If you primarily want to find text strings inside existing drawings, the
    Drawing Search inside our ToolPac product is your best tool.

    This tool (Drawing Search) I have used, and it works as advertised.

    I'll bet if you email the author, explain exactly what your goal is, he
    can hook you up with the tools needed for a reasonable price.
