    Is there a way to use directly and effectively ".dwg" in Programs (VB
    programs) ?
    I try cadsofttools DLL, but some bloc infos were missing.
    I 'm looking for dwg binarie spécifications to create my own extraction
    prg. if someone have this around.

    And last thing, do you know a good (freeware if possible) dwg -> dxf
    converter that use command lines ? (in case my dwg stuff dont work)

    Thanks

    Not as far as Autodesk is concerned. They guard their DWG file format
    very closely. Fortunately, there is another way. Check out the Open
    Design Alliance -> http://www.opendwg.org

    I believe the R13,R14, and R2000 DWG specifications are available to
    guests, while the current DWG format is only available to members.
    Look for DWGConvert at the same website as above, specifically this
    page: http://www.opendesign.com/downloads/guest.htm

    Thanks a lot, great link.
    The dwgconverter works perfectly.
    The registration procedure is a bit intrusive IMO, and not very practical.
