DWF - Some Viewport Rasters Disappear...

Plotting, viewing and printing in DWF seems to work flawlessly with one exception: we often plot detail sheets to DWF that have multiple viewports (15-20). Each viewport has one raster image (TIFF). Although everything shows up fine in Preview (and plots fine if we send it to our physical plotter), when we open up the DWF we will have random Tiffs missing. Interestingly, if we put the image frame "on", the frame will plot but not the image. The only way we have been able to fix this is to completely remove the raster and re-insert it and/or replace the old viewport with a new one. It makes you crazy if you set up quite a few layouts in Publish and then ONE stinking raster is missing!! So what gives?

Also, does anyone know how to set DWF so that it opens automatically after making the DWF? (In 2005)

i had problems with raster images using dwf viewer 4, but the new V5
corrected it. What viewer are you using?

It's version 5, build 5.0.0.521. Thanks for the response. Any other ideas?

a new version of the viewer is available.. 5.1. not sure what improvements
have been made, but it's worth downloading to see if it corrects your
problem. You also might have better luck posting in the dwf viewer
    newsgroup. (autodesk.dwf.viewer)

    good luck
