Generating DWFs with hyperlinks works just fine in QuickCAD 8. However, in AutoSketch 9, "save as" DWF creates an unusable file, whereas printing to the DWF driver works but the hyperlinks are not present. There is a previous posting of this problem entitled "DWF error". Since I can save QC8 drawings with hyperlinks to SKF and preserve the hyperlinks in AS9, for now I will develop with QC8 and publish to DWFs from there until the AS9 bug is fixed. Does anyone know how to get bugs like this get fixed? Is there a users group for prioritizing some development efforts? It would seem that AutoDesk would increase sales by quickly addresssing program bugs. For example, I would establish AS9 as our company's lower-end CAD standard for all of our technicians and millwrights to use for manufacturing systems documentation, instead of products like MS Visio which is gaining acceptance. AutoCAD is used only for our design staff since it is a high-end product. For now, I will just have to wait until AS9 is repaired, since I can no longer purchase QC8.
