Drawing curved cylinders

    How do you draw curved cylinders in AutoCAD? Can you construct them from
    arcs or am I going about this the wrong way?

    draw the centerline arcs as a polyline or 3d polyline & place a curcle at
    one end, then extrude>path>(pick polyline)
