Draw Order and Layers

    Is there any relationship between layers and drawing order?

    Given a list of layers, is there a way to tell in which order to draw the layers?

    Drawing order is determined by the order the data was added and any changes made with the draworder command. Drawing order has no relationship to layers.

    Nathan:

    Do you know how to list out the entities in a drawing in draw order? I am trying to use the GetFullDrawOrder method of the Sortents Table, but regardless of how I arrange the objects (using the BringToFront command) the objects come out in the same order.

    Sorry, I haven't had a need to do it but had a quick look and couldn't get it to work either.
