down arrow in mtext?

    Just curiosity..What is it for
    mtext...pick first point..depending on the size of the box you define the
    arrow shows up...what is it signifying?

  2. As Dean said, a visual reference or indicator... justifcation and what is
    considered normal text flow.

    After you select the first corner, type J[enter] (or right-click and select
    Justify) and then type MC (or right-click and select MC) and you will see
    the text will remain centered from side-yo-side and top-to-bottom)... note
    the dual arrows. Now Justify>BC...
